Dr. David Demand, former conductor of Coeur d’Alene Symphony initiated the young artist competition during his tenure.

A winner every season, this concert features stunning

talents of flowering performers from the very young through high school, college, graduate work, and beginning professionals, across the country, and from other countries as well. Many winners here have gone on to careers in great performance venues around the world.
