About Us

Inspire. Dream. Discover.

The Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra is celebrating 43 years of bringing outstanding symphony music to the Coeur d’Alene area. They perform classical as well as popular music and are one of the leading performing arts organizations of the region. With their broad base of corporate and individual sponsors, they are an integral asset to the community. They draw their musicians and audiences from Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding Inland Northwest area.

Since 1979 the Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra has been bringing the best in musical entertainment to the people of this region. This season’s offerings feature a variety of regional groups and music selected to please a wide range of tastes ranging from Ludwig van Beethoven to John Williams. Each year the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra sponsors music scholarships for deserving college students, as well as a nationwide Young Artists Competition that recognizes talented young players from Seattle to Dallas to New York City. The winners are featured at our Young Artist Concert every March.

The Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit organization supported by dedicated volunteers and much appreciated donations from patrons. If you would like to be a part of this wonderful organization as a sponsor, patron, or volunteer, please phone the symphony office at 208-765-3833.
