REIMAGINING THE SYMPHONY EXPERIENCE
IN THE AGE OF COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has given the Coeur d’Alene Symphony an opportunity to reimagine how the 2020-2021 season might look, sound and feel.

Nothing can replace the excitement and power of exquisite live music played by a full symphony orchestra, but this season we have created a wonderful CHAMBER CONCERT SERIES that reimagines our classical music program, our seating for musicians, and the concert experience for our patrons, donors, and concertgoers. The series offers a unique and entertaining orchestral experience accessible from the comfort of your home.

Join us in animating this season’s reimagined CHAMBER CONCERT SERIES and show your support for the CSO with your FANtastic Face!  Your $100 donation, a portion of which will be tax-deductible, will provide you with the following benefits:

  • Your life sized FANtastic Face cut-out placed in a seat to represent you as a virtual audience member

  • Free livestreaming of all five Chamber Music performances that can also be viewed on-demand as recorded content

  • The opportunity to attend one or more of our performances in person, as conditions and capacity allow

Our musicians enjoy performing to an audience. Be a part of that audience!

Individual livestream-only tickets are also available

Individual tickets to each of our live-streamed performances may be purchased online for $20 each.  (Note - only one ticket is required per household!)  Each performance will also be viewable "On Demand" after the concert date.  Please visit cdasymphony.veeps.com for details.

Our full concert series at the Schuler Center for Performing Arts is postponed until 2021-2022. However, thanks to the hospitality of the First Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church and the Salvation Army KROC Center, smaller ensembles from the CSO Symphony will be performing a CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES in the following venues during the 2020-2021 season.

  • The November concert will be performed in the First Baptist Church and livestreamed only.

  • The December concert will be performed in the First Presbyterian Church and livestreamed only, but your FANtastic Faces will be on full display!

  • The January, March, and April concerts will be performed in and livestreamed from the KROC Center Theater. Venue permitting, a limited audience will also be invited to attend in person.  FANtastic Faces supporters will have the first opportunity to attend these concerts in person, or may continue to enjoy the livestreams from home.

NOTE: Capacity at the KROC may be limited due to social distancing requirements but we will still fill up the theater with your FANtastic Faces!  Musicians will also be seated on stage in accordance with distancing guidelines.

Please join us as we reimagine our musical experience together this season.
